Wood machinist — District of Rutland

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wood machinist in District of Rutland, England. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. On the job you will handle: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists £2,550 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
