MIG welder wanted in Phillips County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG welder in Phillips County, Arkansas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Your main tasks: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
