Vacancy available: we are hiring a HGV driver in Escambia County, Alabama. The job is at a haulage company. On the job you will handle: • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off You should have: • Valid digital tachograph card • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Rotating shifts.
