Great opportunity: horizontal milling machine operator (Kogi State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Ogori/Magongo, Kogi State. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Rotating shifts.
