Metal caster — York County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in York County, South Carolina. The job is at a busy iron foundry. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills The role involves: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
