Pressman wanted in Henry County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pressman in Henry County, Alabama. You will work in a garment export house. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; give each garment a final press before packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
