Waterproofing applicator • Wilkes County, North Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Wilkes County, North Carolina. The job is in lofts and crawl spaces. Day to day you will fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding. Ideal candidate: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing 5+ years on the tools preferred.
