Site safety steward • Polk County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Polk County, Iowa. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. On a typical shift you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills 5+ years on the tools preferred.
