Great opportunity: stainless steel welder (Missouri)

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Randolph County, Missouri. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits.
