We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Perry County, Ohio. Day to day you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements 3+ years on the tools preferred.
