UPVC window fitter — Colorado County

Join our team: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Colorado County, Texas. You will be based at a glazing and fabrication factory. Day to day you will rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame. What we are looking for: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
