We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Madison County, Indiana. The job is at an automotive components factory. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work On the job you will handle: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed Full-time with occasional weekends.
