You should have: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) The role involves mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair.
