Production welder wanted in Boone County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production welder in Boone County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
