Immediate opening: tyre and wheel fitter (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Washington County, New York. You will be based at a car service centre. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Punctual and willing to work weekends • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage Your main tasks: • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement Rotating shifts.
