Join our team: foundry operative (North Dakota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Eddy County, North Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Six days a week, one day off.
