Great opportunity: gas commissioning technician (Oregon)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Crook County, Oregon. You will work in a gas distribution network. The role involves: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
