Now hiring: we are hiring an automobile electrical mechanic in Lucas County, Iowa. You will be based at a car service garage. Your main tasks: • Programme keys and reset immobilisers • Read wiring diagrams and trace circuits • Solder and heat-shrink wiring joints • Diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner • Repair and re-tape damaged wiring looms Requirements: • ITI certificate in auto electrical or electronics, or equivalent • Skilled with multimeter, test lamp and diagnostic scanner • Able to work under the dashboard and bonnet for long periods At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
