Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Dakota County, Nebraska. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust.
