Sand plant operator wanted in Haywood County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Haywood County, Tennessee. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Day-to-day duties: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Rotating shifts.
