Concrete labourer — Kalamazoo County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. The job is on a high-rise slab pour. The role involves compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
