Surface coating operator wanted in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area

Immediate opening: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska. The job is at a powder coating unit. What we are looking for: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth On the job you will handle: • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns Part-time with flexible hours.
