Vacancy available: horticulturist (North Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a horticulturist in Catawba County, North Carolina. The job is on the grounds of a hotel resort. You will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
