Tig welder wanted in Scioto County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Scioto County, Ohio. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
