Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Henry County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills On the job you will handle: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Full-time with occasional weekends.
