Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Knox County, Tennessee. You will work in a tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
