Great opportunity: we are hiring a membrane applicator in Le Sueur County, Minnesota. You will work on a high-rise façade. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Day to day you will work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
