Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in McCreary County, Kentucky. The job is on a window-and-door production line. Day-to-day duties: • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
