Fire and safety officer • Lowndes County, Mississippi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Lowndes County, Mississippi. You will work at a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
