Safety officer — Madison County

Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in Madison County, Kentucky. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations On a typical shift you will inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
