Dishwashing attendant — Newton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dishwashing attendant in Newton County, Mississippi. The job is in a hotel kitchen. The role involves: • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations Requirements: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates 5+ years on the tools preferred.
