Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Chisago County, Minnesota. On a typical shift you will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 6+ years on the tools preferred.
