Food packing operative — Navarro County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a food packing operative in Navarro County, Texas. The job is in a cold-storage packing unit. You will record production counts on the shift sheet; operate the filling and sealing machine on the line; separate rejects and re-pack faulty units; wipe down and sanitise the line following hygiene rules; weigh and portion products before bagging; apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack. You should have: • Comfortable working at speed to meet line targets • Attention to detail for date codes and labelling • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
