Great opportunity: steam press operator (Washington)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steam press operator in Lewis County, Washington. The role involves fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Full-time with occasional weekends.
