Backhoe operator wanted in City of York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a backhoe operator in City of York, England. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. Day to day you will work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Rotating shifts.
