Site safety steward wanted in Lake County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in Lake County, Michigan. The job is at a manufacturing plant. You will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
