We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Effingham County, Georgia. The job is at a busy machine shop. You will load and index turning tools in the turret; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; write and edit G-code programs at the control. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls We offer $18 per hour plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
