Ladle pourer — Jones County

Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Jones County, Mississippi. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. On a typical shift you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
