Garment machinist — Rockingham County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Rockingham County, New Hampshire. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown You will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours.
