Immediate opening: argon arc welder (Alabama)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Blount County, Alabama. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing.
