Gtaw welder • Garki, Jigawa State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Garki, Jigawa State. The role involves select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Overtime paid at a premium rate.
