Vacancy available: tig welder (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Floyd County, Texas. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
