Vacancy available: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Harper County, Oklahoma. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. Day-to-day duties: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
