Vacancy available: aluminium technician (North Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Tyrrell County, North Carolina. You will be based on a commercial shopfront installation. Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines Six days a week, one day off.
