Vacancy available: finishing presser (West Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Jefferson County, West Virginia. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments.
