We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Pope County, Arkansas. You will be based at an automobile body shop. The role involves check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
