Plant operator wanted in Goochland County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Goochland County, Virginia. The job is at a road and highway construction project. Day to day you will keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
