Scaffolding charge hand — Ewekoro

Vacancy available: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Ewekoro, Ogun State. The job is at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns The role involves: • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground Rotating shifts.
