Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Pickens County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE The role involves compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors.
