Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Telfair County, Georgia. Day to day you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Six days a week, one day off.
